I just spend a lot of time making art that doesn't actually exist. I forgot that was how things worked here. I don't mind, but it sure does make a lot of people think I'm lazy. I'm not.

That website I've been talking about for ages? It's finally happening. It's partially up already, but we're still working through the kinks and adding content. In theory, it should be mostly up later tonight and fully worked out some time in August. http://www.lorytraugott.com/ In other news, I'm leaving my gorgeous city of Boston and heading back for the Midwest. The irony isn't lost on me, but it's rare that you can have everything you want at once, so this is my attempt at compromise.

A lot has happened since I last posted here. I have work in two shows at the moment: SMFA Senior Projects 2009 and Violence Transformed, but insomnia told me I'm not allowed to remember any of the important details about them at this particular moment, so I guess I'll come back to that another time. I've also been in several other exhibitions recently and my memory is failing me there too. Won some awards. Tentatively sold some prints for editions I haven't actually printed yet. Graduated (but should have maybe contemplated failing at that one to avoid the real world for another year or two.) I need access to a print shop and rent money. Un
