2 AM And I Can't Remember Anything

Wed May 20, 2009, 11:34 PM
A lot has happened since I last posted here. I have work in two shows at the moment: SMFA Senior Projects 2009 and Violence Transformed, but insomnia told me I'm not allowed to remember any of the important details about them at this particular moment, so I guess I'll come back to that another time.

I've also been in several other exhibitions recently and my memory is failing me there too. Won some awards. Tentatively sold some prints for editions I haven't actually printed yet. Graduated (but should have maybe contemplated failing at that one to avoid the real world for another year or two.)

I need access to a print shop and rent money. Unfortunately the two contradict each other. Also, a website is in the works. Here's to hoping that helps with the rent money conundrum.

I have more prints I need to scan and hopefully I'll do that soon.

Thank you so much! Aquatints still feel like magic since it's a new process to me, so it's nice to hear positive feedback as I'm still not too confident about them.
i think you are a natural!

Fantastic gallery here. Your creativity is phenomenal.
Thank you - that's very kind of you to say.

Also: Phenomenal is one of my favorite words.
Ha! Glad to say the magic word!

By the way, how was House of Leaves?
I just started reading it.
I actually haven't finished House of Leaves yet. I keep getting distracted by how visually fantastic it is and end up just staring at the wonderful text formatting and forget to actually read.

The first half or so is mind blowingly fantastic though.
Thanks for the fave :)
