I haven't updated in a long time, although things have happened.
1. I received the Remis Scholarship!
About: The Robert and Ruth Remis Scholarship is a scholarship for artists of exceptional promise and merit awarded for the final year of their Diploma or BFA program.
2. I had two pieces (more accurately: an artists' book and a set of fifteen drawings) shown in the SMFA Student Annual 2008.

About: This juried, multimedia exhibition presents a comprehensive overview of work by current students. Included in the exhibition are the recipients of the 2007 Boit Awards for work created independently during the summer, the 2008 Dana Pond Awards in painting, the 2008 Yousuf Karsh Prize in photography, the 2008 Will and Elena Barnet Award in painting, and the 2008 Stella and Sumner Cooper Award for work in metals, glass, and ceramics.
3. I had one piece in the SMFA Drawing Exhibition 2008.

That's what's been exciting in my art life, I guess. There's a heatwave in Boston right now and it's making me feel useless and completely unmotivated so I haven't been accomplishing much. Hopefully it will go away and in doing so will inspire me to get back into the OCD swing of things. I have at least 400 hours of text stamping I need to get a start on...
